Song of the Day - Missing You Anymore
This is from David Guetta's new album "One Love" featuring Novel. This is one of the songs that isn't a single. That's why you have to listen to whole albums, because you'll miss out on some great songs. I really like the line "Now tell me what you're mad about" and the beat change before that line.

Song of the Day - Hideaway
I hate watching MTV now, but I have to give props to "16 and Pregnant" because the show features great indie music! This is by the band Lapush from St. Louis. Another great song is "Aurora", but that's their hit single that everyone knows. Listening to this song makes me so sad, just something about the lead singer's voice gets to me. Unfortunately, my 200$ headphones broke so I've been without music for about 5 days now and I'm getting more depressed and mopier. At least it's still under warranty :)

Song of the Day - Feel the Love

This song is sung by one of my favorite bands from the land down under called Cut Copy. I don't know why, but it has a beachy feel to it with a dash of disco? It's a very multifunctional song, For one song, you can listen to this song when you're sad, happy, running to your next class, running in general, chilling on your bed, or impress people who are into aussie electronica bands!

Song of the Day - All in All in All is All

This song is by My Latest Novel who is also from the UK, specifically Glasgow. First off, I like any alternative song that incorporates violin. My favorite part is when the band members start singing around 1:30 minutes into the song. It's like all their voices are different instruments and it sounds so good together. They all sing different words, but they come back together during the end. How embarrassing, I posted the wrong song up, it should be fixed now!

Song of the Day - Anytime/Meri Yaad
Thanks to Ritesh for sharing Penn Masala with me! At first I was resistant because I've had their songs for a while, but I just started listening to them this summer and I love this Hindi a capella group. Their songs are actually a mix of Indian and English songs. Also, another one of their songs I recommend is Aicha.
Song of the Day - Watcha Say
Thanks to Ritesh for sharing this song with me. Jason Derulo took Imogen Heap's Hide and Seek to a whole new level.
Song of the Day - Echo
I've never heard of Gorilla Zoe, but thanks to Amey for listening to this in England. I would put it under "Playlist to forget someone".

Song of the Day - Fuzzy Blue Lights
This is by the band Owl Cities
which is a cool name as well as a good band or good man because it only consists of one man, Adam Young. His music is pretty impressive if you consider the fact that it's a one man band. I'm going through a synthpop phase now, so I've also been listening to Hellogoodbye (leaning towards pop) and Macintosh Braun(leaning towards ambient electronica). Overall, it's a really good chill song with catchy indie lyrics.

Song of the Day - Bolo Haye Re
This is sung by Funkidesi who is an afro-indo-caribbean music. They actually played at UIUC over Summer 2009 and Ritesh and I went. We both bought their cds for 20 bucks!!! It was the first time in a decade that I actually purchased a cd... Other than that, we also went dancing and this was the first song they played that got our feet moving. This was the night that a certain someone biked 6 blocks really hammered while carrying a huge textbook without getting a scratch on my bike or inflict bodily harm on himself which still confuses me to this day!
